The 3rd I Love Sushi restaurant opens on Lake Bellevue – a quiet oasis in Bellevue.

In addition to the fresh seafood all I Love Sushi restaurants have been offering, we have created delicious meat dishes for people who are not so keen on fish.

We would like you to enjoy our delicious sushi, original creations of beef, chicken and duck, colorful sake-cocktails, tasty wine, as well as the serene lake view.

Masa received formal training on authentic Japanese Cuisine in Osaka, Japan. His knowledge for Japanese cuisine is real. His dishes are awesome. Masa lives for the moment to hear customer exclaim "Umai! (delicious)."Ther's no other professional chef on Eastside who can create authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi but Masa. Masahiko Nakashima (Masa-san) / Owner Chef

Masa was born in Hokkaido. His career began at one of the famous "Kaiseki" restaurants, "Chikuyou-tei" in Osaka. After moving to Vancouver Canada in 1984, he started as the executive chef at "Shijo", he established it as a renowned restaurant in town in no time. Shortly after, he opened his own restaurant "BON". It was a recipient of the best of Japanese award by Vancouver magazine in 1999 and 2000. Additional merits include being one of the licenced blow fish (fugu) chefs.

Eiichi Sato (Joe) / General Manager

learned the fundamentals of Japanese cuisine from iron chef, Tosio Katsumata in Tokyo. Joe met Masa-san in Vancouver Canada in 1992. He then started working at Masa-san's restaurant "Bon". Afterwards, he accepted the position as head chef at Vancouver's Pan Pacific, a Japanese restaurant in a 5 star hotel. At the same time, he coordinated in-flight Japanese meal service for Air Canada. Joe was designated the chairman in Seattle of NPO association, "Cultural Exchange of Japanese Cuisine" by the famous chef, Mr. Hirohisa Koyama.
